Delivering an impressive 45 ft maximum lift height with a 27 ft, 4 inch forward reach and a 20,000 lb lift capacity, the XR2045 is a dependable asset across a wide range of industries.
THE XTREME DIFFERENCE
All Xtreme telehandlers, including the XR2045, share key attributes that constitute “The Xtreme Difference,” including 360° operator visibility from the cab, an integrated machine rated lift point for suspended loads, long-life boom rollers for smoother operation and minimal maintenance, and specially designed controls that allow the operator to keep one hand on the steering wheel at all times. A wider than industry-standard outrigger stance provides additional stability, and standard auxiliary hydraulics means that the lift can be fitted with a range of attachments for flexibility on the job.
The XR2045 provides large capacity from a compact and nimble machine. Offering the same capacity as sister models XR2034 and XR2042, this unit has extensive forward reach with outriggers for stability. At its maximum, the XR2045 can reach 27 ft, 4 inches with a lift capacity of up to 8,000 lbs. This substantial forward reach is particularly useful in civil engineering, wind farms, infrastructure, steel erections, underground utility, and oil fields.
MOBILE CRANE ALTERNATIVE
Due to its versatile lift height, lift capacity, and forward reach, the Xtreme XR2045 has become a popular product within the construction industry as it can be used as an alternative to mobile cranes.
This presents real cost savings to a contractor, as it requires only one certified telehandler operator, versus a crane that requires one certified crane operator, a crane oiler, and a crane flagger. In addition, telehandlers are widely known to offer significant productivity benefits over cranes in many applications, as they do not require any set up or dismantle, and are able to pick and carry the load.
Using a 134 hp, Tier 4-Final Deutz engine, the XR2045 is equipped with a 72 gallon fuel capacity and has a 72 inch fixed carriage. The lift utilizes a C-class carriage to handle the higher capacity loads, and comes with outriggers as standard.
LONG WORKING LIFE
Like all Xtreme telehandlers, the XR2045 benefits from a heavy-duty, all-steel construction designed to deliver a long working life. Weighing in at 46,300 lbs, the XR2045 has a robust chassis with a 147 inch wheelbase, ground clearance of 15 inches, and a turning radius of 15 ft, 10 inches. Many options are available for the XR2045, including a choice of open and enclosed cabs with heat and air conditioning, as well as multiple fork tines and carriages, such as a side tilt carriage. The XR2045 can be customized with attachments for further versatility, including a 72 inch pole grapple, sling mount, truss booms, buckets, and solid tires for transporting to jobsites from off-site laydown yards.

The full line of Xtreme high capacity roller boom lifts includes the XR1534, XR1570, XR2034, XR2042, and XR2045. Each built with a similar chassis, the family offers a versatile lineup for a large number of applications. The two-section XR2034 and XR2042 telehandlers can carry a maximum load capacity of 20,000 lbs with 34 ft and 42 ft lift height respectively.
