Site construction company EHC, Inc. is experiencing a rebounding residential market with seven residential projects underway and many more in the works. The communities include single and multi-family with EHC developing projects from the ground up, jumping in where others left off and everything in between. The similarity between the projects is that developers, builders, and owners are investing in the residential market throughout Southwest Florida and EHC is ready to make it happen.
THE PROJECTS
Lindsford – Fort Myers, Florida
Paving the way is Lindsford, a multi-million project which includes the earthwork and infrastructure for the single-family and multi-family lifestyle community with award-winning developer The Ronto Group.
EHC has completed Phase 1, is finishing up many of the amenities, and is heading into Phase 2 of the project. For the amenities, EHC is providing the tennis, basketball, and bocce ball courts, parking lot, pool deck and fencing, bike racks, benches, and observation deck for the community.
Along with many of the amenities and Phase I of the community, EHC has already completed the clearing of 118 acres and half a million cubic yards of lake excavation for Phase 2. The site construction company plans to continue with the build-out of the 260-acre community under The Ronto Group’s leadership.
Kalea Bay – Naples, Florida
Kalea Bay is a high-profile, multi-million dollar, multi-tower development in Naples, which EHC broke ground on with Soave Real Estate Group. According to the developer, the new collection of hi-rise luxury residences encompasses more than 480 acres, including wetland green preserves and Kalea Bay’s five towers of 582 residences overlooking Wiggins Pass, Turkey Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. The gated community expects to include the amenities of a 5-star resort from a rooftop terrace and pool to a resort-style clubhouse with restaurant, tennis, pools, and more.
For the initial phase of the condominium tower development, EHC is performing clearing, lake excavation, and storm drainage, as well as water, sewer, and brick paver parking lot improvements for a sales building.
Naples Square – Naples, Florida
Naples Square is being developed by The Ronto Group and plans to change the way people live in downtown Naples. Naples Square’s walkable lifestyle will bring a sense of cohesion to downtown and its residents will have downtown’s attractions and beaches at their fingertips. Residents at Naples Square will also enjoy the convenience of a separate commercial component and a dedicated public access easement in the form of a linear park.
The Ronto Group engaged EHC for Phase 1 with EHC providing the site demolition, clearing, earthwork, grading, underground storm, sewer, water, brick paver roadways, underground stormwater retention, site concrete and curbing, temporary parking, and offsite improvements for the nearly 7.5 acres included in Phase 1.
Development of Naples Square is in full swing, including the installation of underground utilities, roads, fountains, landscaping, and signage. Vertical construction of the first building of 73 residences is in progress with construction of the second building planned to begin soon thereafter.
Twin Eagles – Naples, Florida
TwinEagles is an active community development by The Ronto Group. EHC is providing lake excavation and expansion, earthwork, underground utilities, roads, curbs, building pads, and sidewalks for three additional blocks in the community. Development is ongoing for the multi-million dollar project, which is expected to introduce nearly 150 new units to the community.
Twin Eagles is a 1,115-acre resort golf community and was named “Best New U.S. Private Course of the Year” by Golf Magazine. TwinEagles offers numerous community amenities, including two championship golf courses, a swimming pool, fitness center, 47,000-square-foot clubhouse, dozens of lakes, and miles of walking paths.
The Coves at Estero Bay – Fort Myers, Florida
EHC crews are proceeding with the clearing and environmental site work for The Coves at Estero Bay in Fort Myers. The scope of the project is mass clearing and exotic vegetation removal, erosion control, lake excavation, import fill, underground water, sewer, storm, roads, sidewalks, pavers, and final grading.
To-date, the clearing is complete for Phase 1 and 2a, as well as the entry roadway to the project is nearly complete with landscaping starting. The EHC team has excavated the first lake and started excavation on the second. In addition, underground utilities are underway, the model building pads are in, and model home construction will be starting soon.
The KB Home residential community includes over 200 homes with an amenities center, lakes, and preserves. This project is a brand new subdivision in the Fort Myers area.
Orange Blossom – Naples, Florida
Orange Blossom was an existing community which EHC is now reconfiguring for developer The Ronto Group. The site construction company is finishing the roads, completing utilities, retrofitting sewer lines, and more for new product.
Oak Harbour – Punta Gorda, Florida
EHC is preparing nearly 50 homesites for Oak Harbour by national homebuilder KB Home. The commuter-friendly community boasts 125 foot-wide wooded homesites. Planned community amenities include a private, gated entrance and covered pavilion.
In addition to appreciating an improving market, EHC is proud to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. Founded in March of 1990, EHC has grown from two employees working out of an on-site trailer to over 70 employees, a corporate office, a fleet of equipment, and a network of partners.
