Poseidon Barge, Ltd is a Sectional Barge manufacturer located in Northeast Indiana that rents and sells barges and accessories to the marine and heavy construction industries. Its sectional barges come in a variety of hulls sizes: 4 ft, 5 ft, 7 ft, and 10 ft. They are multi-functional, commonly used in bridge, marine construction, and dredging projects. There are a full line of adaptable accessories for each of the product models: Spuds and Spud Wells, Deck Cleats, Hydraulic Double Drum Winches, Rake Sections, Thrusters Systems, and much more.
Poseidon is an innovative company that listens to its customers and develops new product based on that input. In the last year, Poseidon launched its 50 CY Hopper Barge that was an immediate success. Customers had been asking for a solution to transporting rip-rap materials, or dredge spoils, for quite some time, and Poseidon answered the call. The 50 CY Hopper can be attached to others to make a large flotilla, and each single unit is truckable.
In January 2019, Poseidon added in-house steel grit blasting and painting booths, capable of handling its largest barge as well as other large commercial products.
Poseidon also offers a full line of fabrication and design services, providing these services to the marine and commercial markets.
