Morooka USA has taken a unique path in its drive to lead the track carrier market in the U.S. First with representing the only carrier with a full line of traditional dump carriers. Then, convincing Morooka Japan to build a U.S. factory so the carriers could be made in America—making Morooka the only carrier built here. Morooka USA led the trend to reintroduce the “rotator” to the market, today offering three Morooka carriers, each with a 360° rotating upper structure. Finally, Morooka USA focused on and built a complete line of carriers specifically for the utility market, with features not found in the dump carrier line. All of these market-driven enhancements make Morooka the no. 1 selling carrier in America.

The company began in 2003 with a distribution agreement with Morooka Co., Ltd. out of Japan. Initially, Morooka USA only sold in the eastern states. In 2009, the western states were added, as well as Canada permanently, and through 2018, Morooka USA oversaw sales for Mexico and South America, helping Japan develop and put a distribution agreement in place there.

Today, Morooka USA has more than 30 dealers with more than 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Morooka offers its’ dealer network a national rental fleet, which can be used to supplement the dealers’ own fleet of Morooka Carriers. Traditional dump carriers made by Morooka are often found on pipeline projects across the U.S. Additionally, Morooka USA works with over a dozen OEM manufacturers to provide them a utility line of carriers, becoming the platform for digger derricks, bucket trucks, personnel carriers, specialty drills, cranes, and other specialty equipment.

Morooka USA has been recognized by Morooka Japan as the leading distributor, worldwide, for the last 5 years. At CONEXPO 2020, Morooka plans to introduce four new models, two of which will be made in America, bringing the total of American-made machines to 15.
