Along with exclusive remanufacturing agreements DEUTZ has with the JLG and Terex AWP Reconditioning Programs, several hundred more engines are remanufactured and sold to customers all across the Americas. Each DEUTZ Xchange remanufactured engine undergoes a 300-point reconditioning process, including all of the latest engineering advancements and is tested to make sure it can live up to customers’ expectations. From its Value Add facility in Pendergrass, DEUTZ provides OEM partners with not only a cost savings due to its global purchasing agreements, but also just in time delivery, ensuring that its partners receive engines as needed. Several thousand engines come through one of three value-added assembly lines each year, configured exactly as its OEM customers demand. DEUTZ Corporation keeps plenty of parts in stock for several generations of engines, ensuring that its customers receive the parts they need. DEUTZ Corporation service staff carefully examine each component that comes to Norcross for a warranty claim. DEUTZ Corporation recently added a Warranty Disassembly Area at its Norcross location, allowing service staff to quickly resolve warranty issues. Highly knowledgeable DEUTZ service staff are at the ready, taking calls from distributors and end users, in order to help get engines up and running fast. Technical Service Training students receive extensive hands on training diagnosing simulated engine failures. More than 500 students come to the DEUTZ Corporation headquarters each year to take part in technical service training classes. DEUTZ Corporation has a fill rate of more than 95 percent, shipping out nearly 700 parts each day. The DEUTZ Application Engineering department partners closely with OEMs to ensure that they’re not only approaching the end of the Tier 4 flex period on time, but also providing the best engine configurations.
