For seven years, EarthCam documented the construction of the 15-story, 12,000-person capacity building, capturing hundreds of thousands of high-quality images. The nearly $300-million modernized facility, constructed on the same footprint of its asbestos-laden predecessor, will house the offices of members of the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates, as well as spacious new committee rooms where new laws will be written.
