Merlo for Flexible Jobsite Performance
Whatever the jobsite demands, there is a Merlo solution. Merlo’s range of telehandlers—compact, heavy duty, high capacity, and panoramic—and Rotos offer lift heights up to 115 feet, operating capacities up to 25,000 lbs and many beneficial features.
This year, Merlo roles out its new telehandler modular design with “Plug & Play” electronics. Within this new design are a number of operator efficiency enhancements. There is the wide, split door for easier access to a spacious, climate-controlled cab and ergonomic seating. This cab offers 360-degree visibility (thanks to its low, side-mounted boom) to ensure the operator has the load and working environment in sight at all times. The new dashboard hosts a streamlined control panel and larger LCD. The electronic joystick is intuitive and the function buttons are positioned for easier access.
Merlo telehandlers, depending on models and capacities, are equipped with a hydrostatic transmission, frame leveling, and precision side-shift for better load placement. All have a no flex, ground engaging boom that accepts a large variety of attachments.
One of the newest Rotos coming to the USA, with the latest modular design, is the Roto 50.35S Plus. This Roto has a 115-ft lift, 96-ft reach and a 20-degree tilt cab. It also boasts the new ACSC software system. In real time, this program collects machine parameters such as load position and weight, boom extension angles, stabilizer position, and attachment information. It then analyzes the data to create the load diagram seen on the highly visible LCD.
