AlignOps FleetWatcher is a construction-specific fleet and materials management solution built for heavy civil and asphalt operations. The platform combines telematics, load-cycle tracking, e-ticketing, safety intelligence, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) into one system, giving contractors real-time visibility into trucking performance, material movement, and jobsite productivity.

Adam Harshman, president of FleetWatcher, explains that the system helps teams track “how long is it taking them to load trucks, how much material are they moving throughout the day, what are the RPMs of the machine while it’s running, and what’s actually happening at the job site.”

Harshman explains that it can cost a thousand dollars a day to keep a truck on the road, and if the equipment spends 40 percent of the time idling rather than working, it results in a huge waste of fuel, time and assets. In a high-cost fuel environment, “close enough” isn’t good enough for paving operations. The FleetWatcher Materials Management Solution (MMS) is designed to solve the “truck pack” problem, helping pavers achieve more loads per day by identifying bottlenecks at the plant or the paver in real-time, reducing idle time and slashing trucking costs.

DISPATCH MODULE

FleetWatcher now introduces a Dispatch Module that brings scheduling details, asset fulfillment, equipment requests, and messaging into one centralized location so that users can plan smarter, react faster, and keep projects on track. With improved job search and significantly faster performance, this upgraded functionality now supports the complexity and pace demanded of real-world dispatch operations.

The new Dispatch experience allows users to see all scheduled jobs in one place. Displaying orders, fulfilled requests, and pending assignments together creates a single information source, so that logistics, field teams, and drivers are all seeing the same data in the same way.

Using each job’s KPIs, users can quickly identify which projects are fully staffed and on track, and which need attention. It allows users to track broker and hauler performance at a glance, reinforcing accountability so team leaders can reward reliability. Fast edits and real-time updates allow users to adapt instantly, keeping everyone aligned. From planning to execution, the new Dispatch experience gives users end-to-end visibility to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and accountability.

SAFETY FEATURES

Safety is no longer a separate “add-on” with FleetWatcher—it’s integrated directly into the fleet-tracking workflow. At CONEXPO 2026, the company debuted industrial-grade, dual-facing cameras. This isn’t just about recording video; it utilizes real-time, cutting-edge A.I. that detects fatigue, speeding, and seatbelt use, then ties that safety data directly to the vehicle’s operational KPIs.

These cameras are tough enough to withstand the harshest conditions and feature internal or external power options. Combining safety and operational data in one place means data flows seamlessly with no extra systems required, or no jumping between systems. The cameras allow users to tune event thresholds for their drivers, vehicles, and conditions. Dual-SIM LTE and backup power ensure that there is no lost footage for a dependable insurance safeguard. FleetWatcher cameras can also be self-installed in just 30 minutes with adhesive mounts and plug-and-play connectors.

“Other people chase a dollar; we chase a problem,” adds Harshman. “We were founded by an individual (Larry Baker) who wanted to solve problems, not just own a business.”
