The largest construction trade show in North America, CONEXPO-CON/AGG, returns to Las Vegas March 3-7, 2026. Held every three years, this enormous convention attracts nearly 140,000 attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors from around the globe centered around the latest technology, innovations, and solutions for commercial construction. Industry professionals have a single destination to explore workforce development, safety leadership, sustainability strategies, and best business practices.

EDUCATION

Education is a cornerstone of CONEXPO-CON/AGG, delivering a comprehensive lineup of panels, workshops, and keynote conversations designed to help attendees stay ahead of a rapidly evolving construction landscape. Learning opportunities range from hands-on equipment insights to forward-looking discussions on artificial intelligence, sustainability, and workforce innovation.

“CONEXPO-CON/AGG brings the entire construction ecosystem together, and that includes education that is practical, relevant, and immediately useful on the jobsite and in the office,” says Dana Wuesthoff, show director of CONEXPO-CON/AGG. “Whether you are focused on workforce development, safety, equipment management, or preparing your business for what’s next, this is where the industry comes to learn, connect, and move forward together.”

CONEXPO-CON/AGG delivers more than 150 education sessions organized across clearly defined tracks that allow construction professionals to tailor their learning experience around the challenges and opportunities most relevant to their role, sector, and stage of business.

SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOP

The Small Business Workshop at CONEXPO CON/AGG is designed for entrepreneurs, family-owned companies, and firms with up to 50 employees, and the session will focus on practical strategies for growth, networking, and leadership development. The workshop will help attendees improve their knowledge on topics including tax planning, fleet selection, bidding, growth, employee retention and tech.

The Small Business Workshop is part of a series of the new industry-focused education programs introduced for the CONEXPO CON/AGG 2026 show.

“Small businesses are the pulse of the construction industry, and the Small Business Workshop gives owners and decision makers a place to learn from one another and build the relationships that move their work forward,” says Wuesthoff.

GROUND BREAKERS

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 will introduce the Ground Breakers Stage, presented by Sherwin-Williams, a thought-leadership platform dedicated to technologies, business models, and people redefining the future of construction. Running March 3–6 in Las Vegas, the stage will feature leaders from across construction, mining, transportation, and technology discussing real-world innovation already shaping jobsites today.

“The Ground Breakers Stage was created to elevate the conversations shaping the next era of construction,” says Wuesthoff. “These sessions go beyond concepts and focus on how innovation is being applied right now to solve real challenges across the industry.”

Keynote presentations from John Deere, AWS, Autodesk, and Caterpillar will be livestreamed in the Community Zone. The Ground Breakers Stage is located in West Hall 108-110.

BREAKING RECORDS

At the 2026 convention, the commercial construction industry is set to make history with a Guinness World Records attempt for “most people wearing high-visibility vests.” The attempt, scheduled for March 3, 2026, aims to shatter the existing record of 2,499 participants and shine a spotlight on the vital role the industry plays in shaping communities and infrastructure across the continent.

Trade show organizers will host the record attempt as part of CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s opening ceremony by gathering thousands of attendees clad in vibrant orange construction safety vests to demonstrate the unity and collective $2.2 trillion impact of the U.S. construction sector.

“This record attempt is more than a number—it’s a celebration of the advances, hard work, innovation, and dedication of everyone in the construction industry,” says Wuesthoff.
