The ARDCO Articulating Multi-Purpose Truck (AMT) is designed to accept a wide array of standard and customizable attachments on its modular back-end platform. This concept provides the flexibility to tackle numerous tasks with a single machine. Multiple tire choices—tractor, construction, terra, sand, and more—help further configure the AMT to various conditions, allowing it to navigate difficult terrain and work in any environment, from urban construction projects to extreme off-road jobsites.
Powered by a 250 hp Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4 Final diesel engine, the AMT 600 model features selectable 4- or 6-wheel-drive and offers a top travel speed of 30 miles per hour. The AMT 400 model has a 200 hp Cummins Tier 4 engine, offers 2- or 4-wheel-drive, and travels up to 25 miles per hour.
The AMT has a 2-person, fully enclosed, all-weather ROPS cab with heating and air conditioning. A 7-inch display in the steering column provides digital gauges with onboard diagnostics, digital manual access, and an optional backup camera display. The streamlined design offers panoramic visibility, ergonomic controls, and rugged durability.
Specifically built for off-road travel, the AMT includes a high-strength center pivot trunnion with approximately 20 degrees of oscillation, which allows all the tires to maintain ground contact and traction while driving over rough terrain.
DUMP BEDS
ARDCO announces the launch of its new AMT Dump Beds, offering payloads of 10 to 20 tons, volume upgrades for lighter materials, and tire options to suit extreme conditions where other articulated dump trucks simply can’t perform.
The AMT 600 dump bed provides a payload of 40,000 pounds and standard dump capacity of 16 cubic yards. Side boards can be added to increase capacity to 24 cubic yards when handling low-density material. The AMT 400 dump bed has a 20,000-pound payload and 8-cubic-yard dump capacity that goes up to 12.5 cubic yards with side boards. Both models have a 70-degree dump angle at full dump height, with an efficient raise time of 12.5 seconds and lower time of 13.2 seconds.
The 40-degree approach/departure angle of the AMT is twice that of most ADTs, giving the truck superior off-road capability. It features hydraulic articulation steering by double hydraulic cylinders, with a brake assist option available. The articulating motion allows the tires to slide left or right to gain traction in wet or muddy conditions.
PIPE TRAILER
The AMT Pipe Trailer attachment is ideal for safe and efficient off-road handling of pipe. Built specifically for the AMT 600, the pipe trailer easily attaches using a supplied hitch mount with conventional fifth wheel connection. The trailer features a flexible-load rear frame with 45-degree swivel capabilities and trailer axles with available braking system.
To protect against damage to pipes or other products, the load surface is constructed of oak timbers and the side pole surface is Teflon-coated. The trailer offers a load capacity of 50,000 pounds. Trailer length can be adjusted from a maximum of 35 feet, 8 inches to a minimum of 22 feet, 2 inches.

Designed for carrying diesel fuel or water—up to 2,500 gallons for the AMT 600 and up to 1,300 gallons for the AMT 400, the T-Tank features a flat top cargo area, integrated side storage compartments, and lockable hose/pump cabinets.
Available for the AMT 600, the Service and Lube Station features multiple product delivery systems, including tanks for diesel, oil, coolant, grease, and e-vac. Its steel-constructed body platform is also equipped with an air compressor, pressure washer, welder, and telescopic crane.
Additional standard attachments for the AMT include a flat bed, personnel carrier, exploration drill, firefighting unit, and utility bed, with several more in development.
